Description

One of our hospital partners in the US Virgin Islands is looking for a neonatologist physician.

Roundtrip airfare, rental car, lodging, and temporary US Virgin Island license are provided.

This is a fantastic location and wonderful time to be in the Caribbean! Per Diem opportunities like this do not happen often. Come and enjoy this Island culture while helping an underserved population. No passport or visa is required since this is a territory of the US. An active medical license from any US state is required for the temporary USVI license. No visa sponsorships are available for this position.

Rate is $850 per 24 hours for neonatology coverage. You will be doing 24 hours on call.

You will need your CV, ECFMG (if applicable), medical diploma, post-graduate certificate, board certification, all current state licenses, all current controlled substance licenses (as applicable), federal DEA, life support certificates, driver license, and 25 CME within the last 12 months.

Required health documentation: TB skin test (PPD or alternative QuantiFERON), TB Gold blood test (chest x-ray required within the last three years if positive for TB), MMR, or positive titers, varicella, or positive titers, Tdap Immunity or booster (every 10 years), Covid-19 vaccine, Hepatitis B, if unable to provide evidence or declining Hep B vaccine a signed declination is required, influenza immunity, if unable to provide evidence or declining flu vaccine a signed declination is required. *Please note diagnosis of disease without laboratory confirmation is not evidence of immunity.
