Day Hospitalist in Fargo, ND With an International Airport

I’m currently representing a health system seeking an internal medicine physician to join their day hospitalist team in Fargo, North Dakota with a highly desirable 7 on / 7 off schedule. This is an excellent opportunity for a physician who enjoys practicing in the inpatient setting while maintaining a predictable schedule and strong work-life balance.

In this role, you will provide comprehensive inpatient care including patient examinations, diagnosis, treatment, and coordination of rehabilitative services. Responsibilities include admitting patients, prescribing medications and treatment plans, interpreting laboratory and radiology results, and managing care throughout the hospital stay. You will collaborate closely with primary care physicians to maintain continuity of care, handle discharge planning and summaries, refer patients to specialists when appropriate, and participate in inpatient consultations within your area of expertise. The position also encourages ongoing continuing education to maintain and enhance clinical skills.
